What is a TikTok LIVE Creator Network?
Short answer: A TikTok LIVE Creator Network is an independent business, approved to operate on TikTok's LIVE Backstage platform, that recruits, coaches, and supports creators who stream on TikTok LIVE. Creators usually call them “LIVE agencies.” TikTok states that networks are independent third parties and that it does not endorse them. Nova Network is one such network, serving creators in the United States.
TikTok's definition
Source: TikTok — TikTok LIVE Creator Networks, accessed 2026-09-17.“TikTok LIVE Creator Networks are agency experts who help creators thrive and fulfill their dreams on TikTok LIVE. They usually provide personalized strategies, support, and active feedback to creators.”
TikTok also describes the business relationship: “As business partners of TikTok LIVE, Creator Networks connect creators with advanced tools, exclusive programs, and growth opportunities to build sustainable businesses.” The operating platform is LIVE Backstage, which TikTok calls “the official operation platform for Creator Networks.” Source: TikTok — TikTok LIVE Creator Networks, accessed 2026-09-17.
What TikTok says networks do for creators
TikTok's comparison of networked and independent creators lists what a network typically provides: “professional guidance and resources,” “topic optimization, creative training, case studies and best practices sharing,” “operational support, including platform policy guidance, account safety support,” “industry insights and best practices,” and access to “a broader range of data.” Source: TikTok LIVE Creator Networks blog — TikTok LIVE Creator Network vs. individual creator, page dated 2026-09-03, accessed 2026-09-17.
On monetization readiness: “By supporting policy compliance, authentic audience engagement, and consistent LIVE activities, Creator Networks can help creators maintain monetization readiness and support sustainable growth on TikTok LIVE.” Source: TikTok LIVE Creator Networks blog — TikTok LIVE monetization requirements, page dated 2026-06-23, accessed 2026-09-17.
Note what is absent from every one of those pages: any promise of viewers, Diamonds, or income. Networks do not control TikTok's distribution. We say so plainly on our benefits page.
What a network is not
- Not part of TikTok. “TikTok LIVE Creator Networks are independent third-party businesses that operate on the TikTok platform on their own behalf. TikTok does not endorse, sponsor, or assume any responsibility for the business activities or conduct of any Creator Network.” Source: TikTok LIVE Creator Networks blog — TikTok LIVE monetization requirements, page dated 2026-06-23, accessed 2026-09-17.
- Not the thing that pays you. Your Rewards come from TikTok under its Rewards Policy; a network cannot change how TikTok calculates or pays them. Source: TikTok — Rewards Policy (United States), page dated 2026-01-22, accessed 2026-09-17.
- Not a brand-deal or TikTok Shop agency — though some companies do both. Influencer-marketing agencies and multi-channel networks (MCNs) serve brands, and TikTok Shop runs its own separate “Top LIVE agencies” program for LIVE shopping. A LIVE Creator Network serves LIVE creators who earn through Gifts. See the glossary.
How a business becomes a Creator Network
TikTok's page describes the application: create an account on LIVE Backstage, submit an incorporation or registration certificate, shareholding information, and key management and personnel information, then wait for review — “You will receive emails regarding the status of your application in 5 to 7 business days.” Source: TikTok — TikTok LIVE Creator Networks, accessed 2026-09-17.
TikTok does not publish a public directory of approved networks. The only verification surface TikTok describes is inside the app: a network's linked scouting account “displays the Creator Network certification.” Source: TikTok LIVE Creator Networks blog — LIVE Backstage creator onboarding, page dated 2026-09-07, accessed 2026-09-17. Our scouting account is @novanetworkllc; the certification marker appears only after TikTok approves a network, and ours is not yet approved.
How creators join one
The network invites the creator, not the other way round. TikTok describes the stages as creator scouting and identification, sending creator invitations, and creator onboarding: “Creators who receive the invitation will have an opportunity to learn more about the Creator Network, understand the collaboration, and decide whether to continue the onboarding process.” Source: TikTok LIVE Creator Networks blog — TikTok LIVE Agency Invitation, page dated 2026-08-05, accessed 2026-09-17. Our version of that flow is on the how it works page.
