TikTok LIVE agency FAQ: what creators actually ask

These are the questions creators ask most often about LIVE agencies, in roughly the order they ask them. Each answer separates what TikTok publishes (linked) from what our contract says (ours) from what nobody publishes.

The basics

What is a TikTok LIVE Creator Network?

TikTok's own description: “TikTok LIVE Creator Networks are agency experts who help creators thrive and fulfill their dreams on TikTok LIVE. They usually provide personalized strategies, support, and active feedback to creators.” Creators usually call them “LIVE agencies.” They are independent businesses, not part of TikTok. Nova Network is one of them.

Is Nova Network an official TikTok agency?

No Creator Network is “official” in the sense of being part of TikTok. TikTok states that Creator Networks “are independent third-party businesses that operate on the TikTok platform on their own behalf” and that it “does not endorse, sponsor, or assume any responsibility” for them. What exists is approval to operate on LIVE Backstage, TikTok's operation platform for networks, and an in-app certification marker on a network's linked scouting account. Our status: application status shown on our About page.

How do I join Nova Network?

Apply on this site. If we think it's a fit, we send you an invitation inside TikTok — TikTok describes this flow as “creator scouting,” then “sending creator invitations,” then “creator onboarding.” You review the terms inside the app and decide. We never ask you to accept anything through a Google Form, WhatsApp group, or DM link.

Agency, Creator Network, MCN — what is the difference?

“TikTok LIVE Creator Network” is TikTok's current name for the businesses that support LIVE creators; “LIVE agency” is what creators call the same thing. An MCN or influencer-marketing agency is usually a different business that connects creators with brand deals and TikTok Shop campaigns. Some companies do both. We focus on LIVE.

Are you affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with TikTok?

No. We operate on LIVE Backstage, which TikTok calls “the official operation platform for Creator Networks,” as an independent business. TikTok does not endorse or sponsor Creator Networks, and we do not use TikTok's logo or claim any partnership.

Who runs Nova Network and where are you based?

Nova Network is run by Carsyn Stephenson and is based in Oviedo, FL. Our legal entity, founding date, and contact details are on the About page, and every person on the team is named.

Money

Does it cost anything to join?

Our join fee is $0. That is our term, not a TikTok rule. Any network asking you for a registration fee, a “release fee,” or payment to receive an invitation should be treated as a red flag.

Do you take a percentage of my Diamonds or gifts?

We take 0% of your Diamonds. Your Rewards come from TikTok under TikTok's Rewards Policy, not through us. TikTok's Creator Networks page describes networks accessing “incentive programs” and “monthly bonuses” through LIVE Backstage; our income comes from those network-level programs, which are calculated separately from your payout. TikTok does not publish the formula, so we do not quote one.

Can you guarantee I will earn more?

No, and neither can anyone else. TikTok's U.S. Rewards Policy states that “Meeting eligibility requirements does not guarantee your participation in any Rewards Program,” and lists the factors that drive Reward Payments: Diamonds collected, LIVE duration, new unique followers, viewer engagement, days LIVE, ranking, and content quality and safety. We coach toward those factors. We do not promise numbers.

Rules and leaving

Can I leave? How does leaving work?

Yes. Our exit notice is 30 days, and it is written in the agreement you sign. TikTok does not publish a universal cooling-off or notice period on the pages we cite; the 15-, 30- and 60-day figures that circulate online are individual networks' contract terms, not a platform rule. Leaving is done inside the TikTok app on the Creator Network / Agency Center screen; the exact path varies by app version.

Do I need 1,000 followers to join?

TikTok gates who can go LIVE by follower count and account standing, and the pages we cite do not publish a single fixed number — check whether LIVE is available in your own app. Our requirement is that you can already go LIVE and are eligible for LIVE Gifts; we do not set a follower minimum beyond what TikTok requires.

How many hours do I have to stream?

Our minimum is 10 hours of LIVE per month across 4 streaming days, with streams of at least 30 minutes. This is our requirement, not TikTok's. It exists because coaching only works on a schedule; we tell you before you sign, and we will tell you if you are falling short before it becomes a problem.

Do I have to sell products on TikTok Shop?

No. Our agreement covers TikTok LIVE coaching and support only. If you want to sell on TikTok Shop, that is your choice and your account.

Can I be in another network at the same time?

Our rule is one TikTok LIVE network at a time. If you want to join a different network, tell us and leave ours first; the only consequence of not doing so is that your membership with us ends. We never fine creators or take them to court over it, and everything you do off TikTok LIVE stays yours. Whether the app allows more than one active network link is not published on the TikTok pages we cite; if you are already linked to a network, tell us before you accept anything so nobody is surprised.

Safety

Do you get access to my account or password?

Never your password, your two-factor codes, or your login. Do not give those to anyone, including us. What a Creator Network sees is what TikTok's LIVE Backstage shows about linked creators: “real-time performance metrics, such as Diamonds and active hours,” viewer engagement, and contract status.

How do I know an invitation is really from you?

A real invitation arrives inside TikTok as an agency invitation, and TikTok states that a network's linked scouting account “displays the Creator Network certification.” Our scouting account is @novanetworkllc (certification pending TikTok approval; until then we send no invitations). If someone claiming to be us messages you from any other account, or asks you to sign anywhere outside the app, it is not us.

Is it for me?

Will you push my LIVE to more viewers?

No. Creator Networks have no control over TikTok's distribution, and no TikTok page describes networks influencing it. What we can do is what TikTok says networks do: “professional guidance and resources,” “topic optimization, creative training, case studies and best practices sharing,” and “platform policy guidance” and “account safety support.” Anyone promising an algorithm boost is guessing or lying.

I have never gone LIVE. Can I still apply?

You can apply once TikTok lets you go LIVE and you are eligible for LIVE Gifts, because Diamonds require both. If you are not there yet, our free guides explain what to do first, and you are welcome to apply later.

I already earn a lot of Diamonds. What changes if I join?

The questions change from “how do I LIVE” to manager responsiveness, event and battle opportunities, escalation help when something goes wrong with your account, and exit terms. We answer each of those in writing before you sign, and our agreement does not change how TikTok pays you.

What do you actually do for me week to week?

A named manager, a written LIVE schedule, review of your streams against the factors TikTok says drive Rewards, help reading your LIVE data, policy and account-safety guidance, and access to whatever network events or bonus programs we are eligible for that month. The full list, including what we do not do, is on the benefits page.
